Somehow I’d missed a very profound line from the Master in this chapter. It was “don’t be afraid to be scared”. I’m inclined to believe that I’ll find more that I missed the first time. Maybe my curiosity was more dominant than my desire. However since I’ve gotten through it once, not anymore. I thirst for this experience. Thanks so much Janet Pool

If there is a heaven, why wouldn’t it be for everyone? And if it is for everyone, why isn’t our connection to everyone here and now a form of heaven—and denying that, “hell.” No one should have to merely endure life on Earth until they get to Heaven. Practically speaking what this means, the author says, is, “If you want something, choose to be that yourself. If you want peace, be peaceful; if you want something fixed, understand what it’s like to be broken; if you want a lot of anything, be a lot of it.” I came to this book (with its visions of Mary, Christ, Buddha and Mohammed on the cover) very skeptically, but found that its common sense wisdom makes perfect sense. The author, Clif Taylor, recalls how he was inspired by reading Neale Donald Walsch (of Conversations with God fame). And the first few chapters of this book follow that model with Jesus answering questions. But from Chapter 5 on, the answers are seldom attributed to any specific source. Taylor says, “From this point forward in the book, I no longer asked anyone specific to answer my questions. I simply thought of my questions, asked them and most answers came to me inside my head without the single tone of voice I had heard in the earlier chapters.” As a writer I believe this. Writers picture situations for characters and go to bed at night not knowing what will happen. We awake the next morning and we do know. Why should the use of inspiration be limited to novels and poetry? Why not aspire to a life built on the premise that truth is within us just waiting to come out?Certain conclusions follow that: 1. we have a personal responsibility to others, 2. we cannot horde knowledge, 3. education–asking questions and finding answers—is everyone’s task, not just that of schools and governments. This book is very readable, not dogmatic and stimulates thinking and discussion. The author took nine years to write it and the page at the beginning of over a hundred people he thanks show his connectedness to others. And there are some little things that are very pleasing” “Those who do not accept the word ‘soul’ should replace it with ‘the knowing you have of yourself’—your core, so to speak.” “(Jesus says) The purpose of both my birth and death was to prompt wonder.”

At first I thought that after the first two-thirds of “Connect” I had a good enough grasp on what the author was saying to make my own applications without the last 50 pages. But now I feel those pages provide clarification and affirmation (in their specific application) of what we have learned before. The book is well organized and shows careful editing. Aside from the amateurish cover I wouldn’t change a thing. Some readers may not agree with me on this, but I think the message of “Connect” more helpful than the Neale Donald Waslch books, which I find a somewhat preachy and forced. Taylor advises us: “How and why you make your choices make your life what it is. I suggest you base your thousands of daily, conscious choices in love and life.” Or put another way, “If children learn life from heaven’s viewpoint, instead of learning heaven from life’s viewpoint, they will walk in love’s path gloriously.

I think that last sentence, and this book, is a “must” for all of us.”

If you had access to all truth and wisdom, would you want it enough to persue it.

If you were provided with the steps to take, and the path to walk, toward a life and world of truth, wisdom, love and faith, would you follow it?

It a very simple question isn’t it?

While everyone claims to desire the answers and receive divine guidance to an idyllic life, we distrust many things that gives exactly what we claim we are looking for. As if lifes greatest desires are meant to be just that a desire.

And, even when we do override our initial distrust, and then discover that acquiring the wisdom and ways of a righteous life is not a painstakingly difficult process, once again, they dismiss the notion as too good to be true.

Connect is not too good to be true. It is truth!

Connect is not this arduous intellectual process that requires unnatural sacrifice. Connect is first a choice a choice to bring Heaven into your daily life. You make this choice the moment you take Connect action – by asking a question. Any question, to anyone you choose. And then, you patiently listen for the answer.

You decide what truth, wisdom, joy, faith and love mean to you. And then, discover it, one question and answer at a time.

When you do this, you are will be living a Connect life . . . and you are assisting Heaven in its quest to merge with your life on earth.

The book Connect is not meant to be required reading before you can bring Connect into your life. It is to show and share how I realized and live a Connect life and to give you examples of the infinite possibilities and gifts that are available to each one of us, upon asking a first question.

Can you think of a time when you were in pure joy, or can you remember anyone, at any time, who lived a purely joyous life?

To me, joy is in the life of the beholder coming from within the beholder. I have met people from all over the world, who live a balanced, peaceful and yes a joyous life.

When I asked Jesus my first question, and received his answer, I experienced a moment of pure joy. Then I figured out what I had been given; not an answer so much as a new way of life. With what I desired that exchange to represent and be for all of us, I started immediately to experience Heaven on Earth. I realized the best thing for me to do was write it down because I recognized that chronicling my Heaven on Earth experience was going to be the act of joy in my world. And I knew I would only experience the first time once.

Are there roadblocks that prevent you or anyone from living in joy? Is one roadblock simply not believing it is possible? Is that non-believing the same roadblock that prevents Connect from becoming a way of life . . .

When you embrace Connect, and Heaven wraps itself around you, you will experience moments of peace you never thought possible. This peace leads to safety, and from that comes joy, as long as you keep the door open . . .

So, do you believe it is possible to attain joyous living? Ask Heaven and tell us what you hear . . .

What to you is lacking that prevents the world from living harmoniously?

Is it trust? Sharing? Love? Faith? Respect? Or is it another virtue we have not yet experienced? How can we possess the answer and apply the knowledge in such a way that our consciousness is transformed?

Maybe not individually, but collectively, we can not only arrive at the answer, but we can also bring the solution. If the world is composed of individuals, then collectively, we compose the world. We can shape it, shift it and inspire it to be closer to what was perhaps originally intended.

Think about a world based upon virtue. Think of a world composed of billions of virtuous people, living virtuous lives. That world exists, inside each of us. Because Heaven exists within and around each of us.

If you accessed Heaven and brought Heaven into your life, you would become part of Heaven, while on earth. And, you would have brought Connect into your life.

Once you did this, would you keep it to yourself or would you share it?

What is it that prevents each one of us from creating a harmonious existence? What barrier is preventing you from asking Heaven this question and patiently waiting for Heaven;s reply?

Would you say humanity is predominantly good, with the capacity for evil, or predominantly evil with the capacity for good?
Is it a coincidence that the word evil is live spelled backwards?

An interesting Connect activity would be for each of us to ask this question of someone who no longer resides with us on Earth.

What does Jesus say . . . would his answer differ from Mohammed or Buddhas or one of your loved ones.

Would each individual’s answer reflect the type of life they lived, the deeds they committed or the message they left as their legacy? Would Timothy McVeigh’s answer dramatically counter Mother Teresa’s?

Those of you who are Connecting daily, please ask one of your sources in Heaven. And, those of you who have not yet Connected, perhaps this is the trigger you’ve been waiting for . . .

Jesus, Mary, Mohammed, Buddha, a loved one who has passed away, or a famous or renowned person from the past?

Before I had even conceived of the notion of Heaven on Earth, or realized that it was possible to Connect Heaven with Earth, I was driven by a curiosity to know directly from Jesus- how Jesus experienced his life while he was on earth, and how he perceives life from his vantage point in Heaven.

With no interference from the outside world or inside my mind, I asked and then listened for Jesus to answer me.

This is what it means to Connect. It truly is as simple as asking a question and patiently awaiting to hear your answer. But, perhaps you’d like a bit of guidance, or structure, before embarking upon something so new. That is why this question has been posted for you.

Think about the person, icon, or entity you would most like to talk to, converse with, approach for guidance.

When Jesus answered my question, my lifelong dialogue, mission and commitment to share the Connect experience with the world was launched.
